Will Our Kids Be Christians After College?
Family, godparents, clergy, teachers and youth workers are welcome to attend a free seminar by the world-renowned Dr. John Mark Reynolds, Director of Biola's Torrey Honors Institute, and parishioner at St. Michael's Orthodox Church in Whittier. Dr. Reynolds will be helping us understand why so many students are leaving the Church during college, what students are hearing and experiencing in the college setting, and what we can do to manage the problem. We'll discuss how to prepare students for the challenges of college life and study, and how they can flourish, not just survive, this season. Don't miss this vital, enriching evening of discussion and learning! The event will take place at St. Barnabas Antiochian Orthodox Church (3505 Cadillac Ave., Bldg. G-3; Costa Mesa, CA) on Saturday, May 10, 2008, from 7-9 p.m. (Great Vespers at 6 p.m.). Refreshments will be provided.
